THE SOUL OF CYCLING. STEEL & CARBON BIKES. DESIGN AND HANDCRAFTED IN MILANO

Cinelli: The Soul of Italian Cycling

Founded in 1948 by pro cyclist Cino Cinelli, the brand revolutionized high-performance cycling with groundbreaking innovations like the first plastic-bodied saddle (Unicanitor, 1962) and the first clipless pedal (M71, 1971).

In 1978, Antonio Colombo, owner of Columbus Tubing, took the helm, fusing cutting-edge engineering with bold artistic vision. Columbus steel had already set the standard for lightweight, high-performance bike frames, making Cinelli’s designs even more advanced. Under Colombo’s leadership, Cinelli introduced the Laser, one of the most iconic race bikes, and pioneered gravel and MTB with the Rampichino (1985).

A brand built on passion, performance, and design, Cinelli continues to define the soul of cycling, blending heritage, craftsmanship, and innovation like no other.
